Pacific Forum Announces the Honolulu Defense Forum (HDF): 2025

A Premier Gathering for Enhancing Defense Collaboration in the Indo-Pacific

Honolulu, HI – Building on the success of our inaugural “Operationalizing Integration in the Indo-Pacific” conference, Pacific Forum is proud to announce the Honolulu Defense Forum (HDF): 2025, set to take place in Honolulu on February 12th to 14th.

In partnership with U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM), the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), and key industry leaders, this annual event serves as a critical platform for U.S. and allied defense representatives, industry experts, and policymakers to discuss solutions for strengthening deterrence and readiness in the Indo-Pacific.

This year’s forum will address key themes, including:

  • Operationalizing Urgency: Critical actions to enhance readiness and deterrence in the Indo-Pacific.
  • Integrated Defense Capabilities: Leveraging industry expertise to enhance logistical and strategic posturing.
  • Harnessing Critical Technologies: Scaling enabling technologies for defense applications.
  • Innovation in Security Initiatives: Collaboration among industry, venture capital, and government to meet evolving threats.
  • Building Industrial Resilience: Strengthening defense procurement and supply chain capacity.
  • Promoting Regional Security: Reinforcing policies to deter malign influence and uphold a rules-based international order.
